Return and Refund Policy

Kennedy Family Holding, LLC d/b/a Underdog Dumpster ("we," "us," or "our") provides roll-off dumpster rental services in Clarksville and Middle Tennessee. Because our services involve scheduled delivery, logistics coordination, and equipment reservation, our refund policy reflects the operational and financial commitments we make on each booking.

By placing a rental order, you acknowledge and agree to the cancellation and refund tiers below. These tiers form a binding part of our Terms & Conditions.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND TIERS

The following tiers apply based on the time between your cancellation request and your scheduled delivery date and time:

Tier 1 — 7 Days or More Before Scheduled Delivery
Cancellations received 7 or more days before your scheduled delivery date are eligible for a 100% refund of the rental fee. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days of cancellation approval.

Tier 2 — Inside 7 Days, More Than 48 Hours Before Scheduled Delivery
Cancellations received less than 7 days but more than 48 hours before your scheduled delivery date are eligible for a 50% refund of the rental fee, or at the customer's option, a 100% credit toward a future rental within 12 months of the original booking date.

Tier 3 — 48 Hours or Less Before Scheduled Delivery
Cancellations received 48 hours or less before your scheduled delivery date, including same-day cancellations after dispatch, are non-refundable. This tier applies because dumpster reservation, driver scheduling, and dispatch routing have already been committed.

DISCRETIONARY REFUND CONSIDERATION

Underdog Dumpster reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to issue full or partial refunds outside of the tiers above in cases of documented emergency, severe weather preventing service, equipment failure on our part, or other extenuating circumstances. Such exceptions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and do not waive the standard tier policy for future cancellations.

EARLY PICKUPS

If you no longer need the dumpster before your scheduled rental period ends, contact us to schedule early pickup. No partial refunds are issued for unused rental days. Early pickup does not reduce the contracted rental fee.

RENTAL EXTENSIONS

If you need additional time, contact us before your rental period ends to request an extension. Additional daily rates apply per your rental agreement. Extensions are subject to availability.

DAMAGE AND PROHIBITED ITEMS

Renters are responsible for damage caused beyond normal use and for any prohibited items placed in the dumpster. Prohibited items include but are not limited to hazardous waste, tires, wet concrete (unless pre-arranged), refrigerators and appliances containing freon, batteries, propane tanks, medical waste, liquids, and contaminated soils. Additional charges apply per your signed rental agreement and may be assessed against the payment method on file. The full list of prohibited materials is detailed in our Terms & Conditions.

CHANGES TO BOOKING

Changes to delivery date, location, or dumpster size are subject to availability and may incur additional fees. Booking changes do not constitute a cancellation. Customers requesting a change should contact us at least 48 hours before scheduled delivery for the best chance of accommodation.

PAYMENT DISPUTES AND CHARGEBACKS

If a customer initiates a chargeback or payment dispute outside of the refund tiers and process described in this policy, Underdog Dumpster reserves the right to contest the dispute with full documentation, including the rental agreement, signed acknowledgment of these terms, communication records, and dispatch records. Chargebacks filed without first contacting Underdog Dumpster to resolve the issue may be considered fraudulent and may be reported accordingly.

Please include your order number, the name on the booking, the scheduled delivery date, and the reason for cancellation. Cancellation requests are processed during business hours: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Central Time.

Refund requests are confirmed in writing via email. Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 7 business days to the original payment method.

GOVERNING LAW

This Return and Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Customers retain all rights provided under the Tennessee Consumer Protection Act of 1977, Tennessee Code Annotated Title 47, Chapter 18, and any other applicable Tennessee or federal consumer protection laws.

Any dispute arising from this policy that cannot be resolved through direct communication with Underdog Dumpster shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Montgomery County, Tennessee.

By completing checkout and agreeing to our Terms & Conditions, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Return and Refund Policy.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Return and Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Updates apply to bookings made after the revision date.
